My story
It all started with an old film camera. My eye pressed to the viewfinder and a desire to discover the world.
It was in Argentina, in Buenos Aires, that I truly learned to see. There I understood that photography is listening to the world — the light, the composition, the life that overflows in the streets.
The most precious moments make no noise. They pass, they fade, but if you're there with all your senses awake, you can catch them.
Births, maternity, family portraits, couple sessions, weddings: each time the same demand — to transcribe the colour and warmth of a moment, to capture time before it slips away. My gaze celebrates life and its magic.
Today, Hélène Gautier Photographie means hundreds of preserved moments, couples who trust me, and a conviction I've carried since the beginning: the light of vibrant emotions can fit on a small piece of photographic paper.
